This Privacy Policy describes how Split4You ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Android application. Split4You is a bill-splitting and shared expense tracker developed by Zeromonad.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App does and does not collect, and how the App works.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Split4You does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
• Financial or payment information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to external servers
• Any data to third-party services, advertisers, or analytics platforms

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All data you enter into Split4You — including groups, participants, expenses, and balances — is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to Zeromonad or any third party
• Is not backed up to any external server by the App
• Is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App

If your device uses Android's native backup service (Google Backup), your local app data may be included in that backup according to Google's own privacy policy. This is a device-level feature outside our control. You can manage backup settings in your Android device settings.

4. No Account Required

Split4You does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details to use the App. All features are available without registration.

5. No Internet Access Required

Split4You works entirely offline. The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests.

6. Children's Privacy

Split4You does not collect any personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for use by all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable regulations.

7. Third-Party Services

Split4You does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or social login services. No data is shared with any third party.

8. Data Security

Because Split4You stores all data locally on your device, your data security depends on your device's security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We encourage you to use a secure screen lock on your device.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via an in-app notice or a new App release. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
